moBlog is a mobile blogging application for Windows Mobile (WM) devices. moBlog currently supports Blogger, WordPress.com and Live Spaces. Support for LiveJournal and MovableType/TypePad is also on the cards.
moBlog is optimized to run on WM devices using minimum resources.
It is an application that you can use in off-line mode, where you can do your writing and editing disconnected to the net. A connection is only required when you initially setup your blogging accounts and when you want to update your blog with the new content. moBlog allows you to save the blog posts locally while they are still being written and edited (I do understand that sometimes you may not be able to finish a blog post in one go), and once it is published, the local copy is automatically deleted from the device in order to free up the storage space (storage on devices are scarce).

CNN Breaking News: Sex and the Green Card
Garden City, New York, USA - An US federal immigration official was accused of demanding sex from a 22-year-old Colombian woman, who is married to an American citizen, in exchange for a green card. Issac R. Baichu, 46, an adjudication office at the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services office in Garden City, was charged and arrested on corruption charges in 11 March 2008 after meeting with the women in their second dating.
According to the court documents, in the first meeting which took place in 21 December 2007, the woman had met Issac in his car, and he told her during the meeting that she needed to have sex with him in return for his assistance in her green card application. He threatened to hold up her application and even deport her relatives if she refused to have sex with him. With this threat, she gave in to one of his demand for oral sex because she was afraid. For the next meeting, he called and asked her to see him in a private meeting. However, she had used her mobile phone, which she hidden in her purse, to record the encounter and the conversation during the date . Days latter, she approached The New York Times and the district attorney’s office to tell the story with the recording. “I want sex. One or two time. That’s all. You get your green card. You won’t have to see me anymore,” he said on the recording.
With this case, questions were raised about the vulnerability of the system to corruption. It was unofficially reported that, in USA, money, not sex, is the more common currency of corruption in immigration.

Internet Connection Using Sony Erricsson M600
Advanced technology has made people on move. With mobility technology, communication is no longer a matter for bringing people together. Especially, with Internet evolution, people can communicate, access and share information. Anyway, to make it happen we need to bring together some technology and device. For example, while you are away from your home or office you need to access to Internet. What should you do? It is not a big deal. Now, you can easily access Internet anywhere and anytime you want if you are in a range of your mobile phone network coverage.
Below is a simple step to make an Internet connection by using your Sony Erricsson M600.
Step one: Configure Internet Connection on Your Device (Sony Erricsson M600)
- Go to Main Menu –> Tool –> Control Panel –> Connections –> Internet Account
- Under the Accounts tap, choose More –> New account –> Data
- Filling the Data account (contact your network operator for this information). Anyway, for this tutorial, I will use Camshin (a network operator in Cambodia) as example. With Camshin, I need to fill in only Account Name (Camshin) and Address (Camshin) fields.
Step two: Install Sony Ericsson PC Suite for Smartphones on your PC
- The installation file is available in the attached CD which provided when you buy your M600.
- Installation process of Sony Ericsson is similar to the installation of others application.
Step Three: Establish Internet Connection
- Run Sony Ericsson PC Suite for Smartphones
- Connect your Sony Erricsson M600 to your PC by using DCU-65 cable
- In Sony Ericsson PC Suite for Smartphones windows, click on Mobile Networking Wizard
- Under the Mobile Networking Wizard windows, click on File menu then click on Create a new connection
- The Create a new connection windows appears
- Choose Packet Switched Data
- Click on Next
- Select Sony Errisson M600 USB Modem
- Click Next
- Type Connection Name (e.g. Camshin) –> Click Next
- Choose Manual Mode –> Click Next
- Type Access Point Name (APN) (e.g. Camshin)
- Type User ID and Password (e.g. For Camshin, it doesn’t require so I leave it blank)
- To make connection, just click on Connect icon
Well done! Now you are ready to surf Internet.

Work-Life Balance: A Message For A Professional
Today, when I check my email inbox I have found a message from my former colleague, in which it contains touching story that a professional should consider. After I went through the story, it makes me awakening. Actually, this story is not new to me. It buzzes around my ears. It used to be brought up for discussion in the staff meeting at my workplace. Whatever you are, a employer, a professional, an IT specialist, a teacher, a journalist, a engineer, a laborer, a mechanic, or a waiter, … please spend just a few minute to go through the below story and think about it.
A small touching story mainly for professionals. ..
A man came home from work late, tired and irritated, to find his 5-year old son waiting for him at the door.
SON: “Daddy, may I ask you a question?”
DAD: “Yeah sure, what is it?” replied the man.
SON: “Daddy, how much do you make an hour?”
DAD: “That’s none of your business. Why do you ask such a thing?” the man said angrily.
SON: “I just want to know. Please tell me, how much do you make an hour?”
DAD: “If you must know, I make Rs.100 an hour.”
SON: “Oh,” the little boy replied, with his head down.
SON: “Daddy, may I please borrow Rs.50?”
The father was furious, “If the only reason you asked that is so you can borrow some money to buy a silly toy or some other nonsense, then you march yourself straight to your room and go to bed. Think about why you are being so selfish. I work hard everyday for such this childish behavior.”
The little boy quietly went to his room and shut the door.
The man sat down and started to get even angrier about the little boy’s questions. How dare he ask such questions only to get some money?
After about an hour or so, the man had calmed down, and started to think: Maybe there was something he really needed to buy with that Rs.50 and he really didn’t ask for money very often.
The man went to the door of the little boy’s room and opened the door.
“Are you asleep, son?” He asked.“No daddy, I’m awake,” replied the boy.
“I’ve been thinking, maybe I was too hard on you earlier” said the man.
“It’s been a long day and I took out my aggravation on you.. Here’s the Rs.50 you asked for.”
The little boy sat straight up, smiling. “Oh, thank you daddy!” He yelled.
Then, reaching under his pillow he pulled out some crumpled up bills.
The man saw that the boy already had money, started to get angry again.
The little boy slowly counted out his money, and then looked up at his father.“Why do you want more money if you already have some?” the father grumbled.
“Because I didn’t have enough, but now I do,” the little boy replied.
“Daddy, I have Rs.100 now. Can I buy an hour of your time? Please come home early tomorrow. I would like to have dinner with you.”
The father was crushed. He put his arms around his little son, and he begged for his forgiveness.
It’s just a short reminder to all of you working so hard in life. We should not let time slip through our fingers without having spent some time with those who really matter to us, those close to our hearts.

If we die tomorrow, the company that we are working for could easily replace us in a matter of days.
But the family & friends we leave behind will feel the loss for the rest of their lives. And come to think of it, we pour ourselves more into work than to our family.
Please bear it mind that although you are so successful at work, you are still a loser in family if you fail to manage your work-life balance. Remember that more working hours don’t mean more productivity.
