I am currently learning how to build a website on my own. The goal is to get my simple personal website all up and running as my place on the internet and to help improve the website of the Cambodian Students Association in Nagoya (CSAN) so that it can be a better community for Cambodian students in Nagoya.

In my pursuit of this, I have been doing three important things: 1- self-learning FrontPage, 2- looking for Webhosting (free and/or cheap) and 3- looking for a free Domainname provider. Seem I am on the right track!

Frontpage, I am learning from the Microsoft Office Training website and a training cd I got from a friend in Nagoya; I am learning something though very slowly and not as effectively as I should in an IT class. For free hosting, I would suggest you do a specialized search on FreeWebspace.Net for free webhosting services. Go to advanced search to set your criteria for free webhostings if you like. (Just like what you do on Google advanced search!)

About a free domain name, I almost gave up my hunt. But then… I found these two, I think would help:

freedomain.co.nr, which provides FREE domain names like www.yourname.co.nr; and

ezyrewards, which provides a more professional domain name under certain conditions.
