Is she really a “jungle girl”?
A question has lately arisen over whether or not Ro Cham H’pnhieng claimed to be half-human, half-animal or the “jungle girl/woman” is really what has been thought to be, reported the Britain-based The Daily Telegraph January 22, 2007.
“Her palms and the soles of her feet, was not as tough as a human are smooth, not hard and tough as they might be after years in the jungle,” wrote the online article of the newspaper entitled Can this really be a ‘jungle girl’?, adding, “And, it now appears, her hair was short when she was found on January 10, not long and wild as first described.”
She is not like a 27 year old who Ro Cham H’pnhieng would be today. She looks more like a teen, according to the newspaper.
“ I think the girl is not like a girl who has been living in the jungle for a very long time,” Kim Savun, the village doctor, told The Daily Telegraph. “ I don’t believe that. Why is her hair short? It should be long. Her legs and arms are very normal.”
Her DNA would likely be tested at the provincial hospital. Sa Lou, a village policeman who claimed that she was his daughter who disappeared into the jungle 18 years ago, also agreed to have her DNA tested.
It is possible that the girl, who lived in so remote an area of Cambodia, might have mental disabilities and therefore had her wrists tied up for some time, continued the newspaper. And that’s why, her wrists got scarce. It is also possible that the reason why she did not speak is that she may be deaf.
“ After the examinations we will know whether she just cannot speak or is deaf,” Bou Lam, the deputy governor of Rattanakiri province, was quoted as saying.

Do you know the relation between your 2 eyes? They blink together, move together, cry together, see things together, even though they never see each other. Friendship should be like that. Life is like hell without FRIENDS (quoted from his
