Unicode Add-On Application: Khmer Conversion and Khmer Line Breaking
Since Khmer Unicode has been introduced, not a fews Cambodian IT enthusiast have tried it out. The most well-know application is Khmer Unicode Keyboard Layout, especially NiDA Standard Khmer Unicode. Some may used to try others Khmer Unicode based-Application such as OpenOffice and Linux (Khmer Version). All of them were pretty good.
Now let’s me introduce you new 2 interested applications, Khmer Conversion and Khmer Line Breaking, from PAN Localization Cambodia of IDRC. They were so useful for those people using Khmer Unicode.
What is Khmer Conversion? Khmer Unicode conversion was embaded in Microsoft Office. Also you can convert from Limon, ABC, Khek, MF font family.
What is Khmer Line Breaking? By recognizing Khmer words, this application will help users to break space (zero-space) between the word so that you don’t need to care about aligning your text during typing.
