Advanced technology has made people on move. With mobility technology, communication is no longer a matter for bringing people together. Especially, with Internet evolution, people can communicate, access and share information. Anyway, to make it happen we need to bring together some technology and device. For example, while you are away from your home or office you need to access to Internet. What should you do? It is not a big deal. Now, you can easily access Internet anywhere and anytime you want if you are in a range of your mobile phone network coverage.

Below is a simple step to make an Internet connection by using your Sony Erricsson M600.

Step one: Configure Internet Connection on Your Device (Sony Erricsson M600)

• Go to Main Menu –> Tool –> Control Panel –> Connections –> Internet Account
• Under the Accounts tap, choose More –> New account –> Data
• Filling the Data account (contact your network operator for this information). Anyway, for this tutorial, I will use Camshin (a network operator in Cambodia) as example. With Camshin, I need to fill in only Account Name (Camshin) and Address (Camshin) fields.

Step two: Install Sony Ericsson PC Suite for Smartphones on your PC

• The installation file is available in the attached CD which provided when you buy your M600.
• Installation process of Sony Ericsson is similar to the installation of others application.

Step Three: Establish Internet Connection

• Run Sony Ericsson PC Suite for Smartphones

• Connect your Sony Erricsson M600 to your PC by using DCU-65 cable
• In Sony Ericsson PC Suite for Smartphones windows, click on Mobile Networking Wizard

• Under the Mobile Networking Wizard windows, click on File menu then click on Create a new connection
• The Create a new connection windows appears

• Choose Packet Switched Data
• Click on Next

• Select Sony Errisson M600 USB Modem
• Click Next
• Type Connection Name (e.g. Camshin) –> Click Next
• Choose Manual Mode –> Click Next
• Type Access Point Name (APN) (e.g. Camshin)
• Type User ID and Password (e.g. For Camshin, it doesn’t require so I leave it blank)
• To make connection, just click on Connect icon

Well done! Now you are ready to surf Internet.
